WCS celebrates Maths success.
Maths students were thrilled to hear they had won the North Somerset Contest for Sumdog online maths and achieved Bronze, Silver & Gold in the Intermediate Maths Challenge.

Inspiring Young Engineers Workshop
As part of Worle Community School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), engagement, students from Year 10 were visited by an ambassador of Young Engineers, a charity for raising awareness for career pathways in STEM subjects.

Published Author Success for Year 9 English Students
One hundred and eleven students from Worle Community School have had success at becoming published authors after entering a national competition with the 'Young Writers' organisation.

Year 10 Interview Day
Students in Year 10 brushed up on their interview techniques thanks to local employers who gave up their free time to support them.
Science Exams 2016
The first Science exam is on Wednesday 25th May. The Science department is very proud of all the hard work Year 10 and 11 are putting into their revision for their upcoming exams. Students are welcome to come into the department if they need any last advice or support with their preparations.

Community Litter Pick
North Somerset Council, led by Cllr. Dawn Payne, will be holding a community litter pick up on Thursday 26th May at 4.00pm.
Student Leadership Team
As our current Senior Student Leaders come to the end of their term of office, a celebration breakfast was held in their honour to thank them officially for all the time, commitment and energy they have put into their roles. It was also a chance to welcome and congratulate the new team who will be taking up their roles from Term 6.

A Clean Sweep at WCS
A big thank you to Councillor Dawn Payne, members of the community and staff from both Priory & Worle for all their help and support during the community litter pick up held at Worle Community School last night.
Thank you for your Donations
Thank you for your kind and overwhelmingly generous donations for the Refugee aid box convoy - the support has been amazing. All donations will now travel up to Bristol and then on to Calais.
Duke of Edinburgh Award launches for Year 9 students
Worle School is launching the DofE award which gives year 9 students the opportunity to learn new skills, undertake physical challenges and volunteer.
